Personal Service and Prompt Attention

Attorney Andrew C. Marine established his Aiken, South Carolina, law practice in 1993 with the goal of offering high quality, personal legal services to his clients. His practice has grown and evolved over the years, but his dedication to client satisfaction remains unchanged.

Part of being a client-centered law practice is offering representation in practical, everyday matters that affect the average citizen. Attorney Marine understands the needs of his clients. In order to best serve them, he offers a practice focused on the following legal matters:

  • Bankruptcy: Federal law allows people in severe economic distress to obtain financial relief through debt discharge, forgiveness, and reorganization. Attorney Marine's practice encompasses personal bankruptcies, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 petitions.

    • Chapter 7 Bankruptcy: Chapter 7 is a process that liquidates an individual's non-exempt personal assets in exchange for a complete debt discharge

    • Chapter 13 Bankruptcy: Chapter 13 allows an individual to reorganize personal debts by establishing a long-term payment plan that will eventually culminate in debt discharge.

  • Real Estate: South Carolina requires that an attorney conduct a real estate closing, and in some cases, must be involved in administering credit lines. More important, a real estate attorney can take the guess work out of a real estate transaction and avoid complications in the future. Andrew Marine is an experienced real estate lawyer, and he offers a variety of services for real estate loans and transactions.

  • Estate Planning: Wills and trusts, powers of attorney, and living wills are just a few of the vehicles utilized for an effective estate plan. Estate plans can be complex and determining the appropriate plan for your situation can be challenging. Attorney Marine will analyze your goals and financial status to determine which plan is right for you.

  • Business Incorporation: Starting a business requires more than just a business plan. The legal structure of an organization can have a profound effect on the tax consequences, manner of governance, and legal liability of the business and its members. Contact attorney Marine to discuss your business plan and the types of business entities available to meet your needs.
